The structure is composed of the following:

• You first need a clear and concise thesis statement in the first paragraph of your essay. This should narrow down what the rest of the essay will be about so that the reader is prepared.


• You will also need logical transitions between each section of your essay. The transitions are what hold the essay today. If you don’t have logical thought processes in the form of transitions then your reader won’t be able to follow your argument and the structure of your essay will collapse.
