Anyone who has been a student in high school or college in the past decade knows that argumentative essays are the favorite assignment of instructors today. Students are learning how to write argumentative essays as early as third grade, but so many students still struggle with the concept. The problem lies in the fact that instructors rarely show their students examples because they fear their students will just copy the example and not write their own unique papers. Since so many students are visual learners, they need to see a well-written argumentative essay in order to write their own papers.
If you need to find your own useful examples, there are several places you can look. Many of the collegiate writing websites provide actual samples of different types of essays. When searching for samples, you should search for “online writing lab” and your search will turn up many top colleges and their strongly designed labs. These websites not only include samples of argumentative, informative, and narrative essays, but they also include samples of formatting styles like APA and MLA, too. You can trust that collegiate labs will provide useful examples that are perfectly written.
Another place to look for useful samples is a professional writing website. These are the sites that students use to hire a writer to complete a paper for them. Many of the sites have useful blogs that might include samples that you can use when writing your own papers. You might even be able to buy a sample for a low price, just do not turn it in as your assignment.
Many bloggers enjoy writing about writing. There are plenty of bloggers out there who are more than happy to help students craft excellent papers by showing them samples of their best work. You should be able to easily find a blogger with the knowledge and skills to help you write an argumentative essay.
Your friends are another good resource for examples that you can use, too. Since nearly every student in the last decade has had to write at least one argumentative essay in every grade level, your friends are bound to have something that you can use as an example. The friend who loves to write will usually have several examples available and they probably all have earned good grades, too.
